Great for Phillies Spring Training Trip

Came down for a short Spring Training trip with the husband. First time in Clearwater. Hotel exceeded my expectations for what I was ready for. Loved being able to walk to Bay Care Park. Hotel was clean. Everyone was nice. Just a fun friendly atmosphere for our quick trip. Would stay here again in a minute.

Staff were exceptional. Having 3nLa Quinta’s on the same street is very confusing. He went to one by mistake and the lobby looked like a lobby for a vet’s office.

While it was close enough to the Phillies ballpark to walk, the location was difficult to drive to. Front desk clerk was very lackadaisical. Had to drive to restaurants. Very mediocre accommodations. Would not recommend unless you want to be close to spring training ballpark.

The room was clean, however the bathroom fixtures need some work. Poor water pressure at the sink and the shower was almost impossible to turn on. Also, it took forever to get got water. The general areas such as lobby need updating. Carpet on stairs was in need of a good cleaning The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.
