Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and quiet and food was very good and tasty with lots of choice. We would stay again if on the area without any hesitation.

Great for the price

Pros: Great location and staff
Stayed here for 2 nights to visit the Beamish Museum which is less than a mile away from the hotel, staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, rooms a bit dated but okay, room 4 has a lovely view of the gardens and the bathroom is a good size, food on the first night not great but it was late when we ordered and it was very much burnt offerings, however the rest of the stay the food was great and the portion sizes are huge. On the whole we very much enjoyed are stay at the Beamish Mary and would stay there again.
