Fun & friendly staff, Sarah on check in was fabulous, friendly and the perfect way to start our stay. Great rooms, lovely gardens, bar had great drinks and team too. Great amount of restaurants and pubs all within walking distance. Breakfast was as top notch too, delicious produce and couldn’t fault it.

Always enjoy staying here. Love the quirky decor. Food delicious. Only issue was an unexpected heatwave in March: upper test rooms are very warm, heating not controlable and have winter duvets so you may fry at night. You can apparently ask for sheets and a blanket. Will return for sure, a lovely hotel and town

Exceptional hotel, we stayed in the St Peters room which was outstanding, could not find fault with the room which was beautifully appointed. Hotel is lovely .Staff are excellent Room was v clean and bed super comfortable. Only complaint is that you do have any control over the heat in your room Our room was pretty chilly the whole time. We will definitely stay again, this was our first winter stay.
