Tatty and tired

Thread bare carpets and nail stick out of woodwork in bedroom. Sticky dirty tables at breakfast. Slashed seating in restaurant. Chipped paintwork throughout the hotel. Tatty tired hotel

Dissapointed return 😪

Hotel room not really cleaned or bed made after 1st night stay just looked like towels changed and duvets pulled back over bed. Hotel rooms and corridors in need of an upgrade very tired and bath had chip out of it

Smart convenient and comfortable hotel

Great location- half way point from wales to south coast. Lovely reception, friendly easy check in. Nice room very comfortable. Only problem was the noise - a strange bit loud humming all the time - like machinery. Also the sink doesn't drain very fast at all - maybe a blockage somewhere - so water in the basin all the time. But all in all it's a good place to stay- easy parking and near Asda and the cinema too- both of which we took advantage of

Good effort

Staff were friendly as ever, the reception staff are always good on check in. Food in the evening was good (although portion size for the fries was on the “thrifty” side (the large plate probably didn’t help. Biggest issue room heating went off at about midnight and was off until Around 5am - it got cold.

Bar staff "mistakenly" gave me change for £10 when i paid with a 20. When queried she begrudgingly called over her supervisor to inform her of my query and then once the till was opened saw that i was correct with a 20 sat in the 10 drawer. A stunted apology was then given. Not good!!!
