Friendly place right in the heart of town. Clean and tidy, good shower and range of toiletries. Rooms are a bit plain though, and bathroom smellt a bit of damp. Also note that as the rooms are above the outside drinking area of the pub, it is a bit noisy.

The staff were incredibly friendly. We had an issue with our radiator not working and they were up to sort it out within 5 minutes.

Great place to stay right in the heart of Totnes. Our room was lovely and bright with big windows. Good food available downstairs and helpful, friendly service from the landlord Jake and his staff.

Aoid!

Pros: Centre of Totnes

Cons: Decent manager/owner

Location: good food and shops.

Booked, paid and received text confirmation. Just prior to arrival hotel phoned and informed us that the room had been let to someone else! Went to speak to manager, he as not particularly concerned, gave different story to staff who first spoke to us. Quite honestly I would never book there again.
