Very Disappointing

Door lock didn’t work. Told reception, they said they’d fix, didn’t, so all my contents were unsecured. No heating in room, had to go down to reception at 0130 to night porter to ask for a heater. Quilt incredibly thin. Finally got the room to a reasonable temperature by about 0300

Previous experience of Best Western was good so we opted for this hotel. It was disappointing. Our room was ok, but very little servicing - beds badly made and pillows very hard. We had to request restocking during our 4 days there. Bathroom was dusty and cold when we arrived. Faulty radiator which we reported the evening of our arrival. When fixed it was dangerously hot day and night and sounded like a boiling kettle! The hotel looks a little run down in many areas. The food was excellent and all the restaurant/bar staff helpful.

No frills hotel. Cheap and Cheerful.

Value for money for a family of 4. Cheap and cheerful. Pool, sauna and steam room. Great location, walking distance to town!!! Shout out to Tyler who checked us in. Great guy. Friendly. Kind..helpful. Ask for him!!!

This lot need to up their game!

The plumbing is awful! Staff lovely but the place needs an upgrade! Over bath shower with little pressure and little temp control. The cold tap was warm or hot! Yes I tried running it for 10 mins to let the mains water come through, but no! Nice enough place but plumbing is 20 years out of date!

We only stayed for one night but it was really nice from the moment we walked in, With a helpful receptionist The room was a great size and bathroom was as well, very clean and well looked after. The breakfast was nice with good selection of hot and cold items. We used the swimming pool and the water was nice and warm and a nice padded floor in the pool and good shallow end for little ones, and also towels were provided by the reception of the pool area.
