Nice spacious room, lots of interesting decor and furniture in the house. Lovely big room. Was worried about parking but managed to park in one of the 4 spaces available.

Meine Frau und ich waren insgesamt drei Wochen mit dem Motorrad in Südengland und Cornwall unterwegs. Wir haben alle Unterkünfte online gebucht und haben uns von den Bildern im Internet leiten lassen. Mehrheitlich waren wir zufrieden bis sehr zufrieden. Die mit Abstand beste Erfahrung haben wir mit Oaklands Guesthouse in Weymouth gemacht. Wenn man die dort gebotene Gastfreundschaft zum Standard macht, haben nur noch wenige Unterkünfte eine Chance. Der Empfang beim Einchecken war unbeschreiblich freundlich, beinahe schon freundschaftlich. Die Gastgeber haben ganz offensichtlich viel Freude an dem was sie tun. Das ganze Haus ist von oben bis unten sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und äusserst sauber. Man sieht die Liebe zum Detail. Das Frühstück übertrifft alles, was wir auf der ganzen Reise erlebt haben. Kein Wunder, der Chef des Hauses hat Freude am Kochen und am Verwöhnen der Gäste. Die Chefin des Hauses reicht das feine Mahl mit liebevoller Art dar. Auf den Punkt gebracht, wir haben uns rundherum äusserst wohl gefühlt. Für Reisende mit hohen Anspruch auf Sauberkeit und Stil, sehr zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind schön aber nicht zu gross. Wir werden ganz sicher wieder einmal in Oaklands Guesthouse einkehren und ein paar Tage bleiben.
