Stayed for one night in December. Parked in their free carpark and checkin was quick and easy. Virus procedures were fine and explained well. We had room 19 - which I would recommend as it overlooks the Square. Bed was wonderfully comfortable. We ate in the pub downstairs. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was tasty and very well presented. I'd definitely stay here again and ask for the same room.

Good central position. We were in room 15. Very noisy when trying to sleep due to traffic noise.Breakfast was good and staff very friendly. Would stay at hotel again but not in same room.

Comfortable surroundings

Comfortable and clean bedroom. Quiet despite being in centre of town. Substantial breakfast. Dining staff could have been more attentive but their friendliness made up for that lack.
