Convenient, reasonably priced hotel.

Pros: Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.
Cons: The beds could be a bit lower.
Location: The hotel is on the M3 services near Winchester and not far from Southampton, plenty of places to visit in the area and Winchester has the cathedral.
Hotel was clean and fairly comfortable and quiet considering it is at a service station. Beds comfortable if a little high, room and bathroom very clean with tea/coffee facilities, hair drier, extra pillows. Well worth the price we paid, we will probably return there if we are in the area again.

Nice quiet and comfortable Room

Pros: The quiet room with everything needed for a safe and comfortable nights sleep with free wifi and free car parking.
Cons: Larger hand/face sink - separate shampoo/soap. Location misleading: It is on the M3 (S) between Basingstoke and Winchester, not Winchester south.
Location: Winchester is a beautiful historical town to visit and Southampton and Portsmouth are within easy reach.
We arrived at around 11pm and was booked in very quickly and efficiently and after registering our car number plates for the free parking, we went to our rooms. Our rooms were of a satisfactory size with two single beds, a functional dressing table and ensuite bathroom/wc. The room temperature was comfortable and we had a good restful nights sleep. The location was quiet and the TV worked fine. Tea/coffee/milk/sugar/biscuits all provided and most importantly free and usable wifi. The ensuite was basic with a wc, a bath and a hand basin, with a squeeze soap dispenser on the wall. I'd recommend people bring their own shampoo and soap. All in all, very satisfied with the room and the room rate. Only marginally negative point is that the Day's Inn is only accessible from the M3 south of Basingstoke, going towards Winchestor. Coming from Winchestor you have to go up to the M3 Basingstoke exit and coming back down on the south carriageway. Not too big a deal.

Not Good

I could not find any were to eat at night in the area that was decent, the shower was cold in the morning, and the staff was not very helpful,

Check your booking

On arrival we greeted with the hotel is fully booked even though we had reserved and paid back in March. The rooms we were given were not what we had booked and one of our party had to sleep on a mattress on the floor. Then we were told that we had not paid and had to pay again. Even though my confirmation email stated that the rooms were paid for. Still waiting for them to repay the booking fee back. I would not recommend this hotel to my enemy
