The parking was good, the bar was good, my disappointment was I wanted 1slice of toast and a cup of coffee, I take meds in the morning and can only eat minimally, they said I had to pay £10.80 p that was the cheapest on the breakfast menu, I declined and went elsewhere,

The hotel is a little tired and could do with a bit of tlc in some areas. But overall it’s a great hotel in fantastic surroundings. It’s peaceful clean and comfortable. Will definitely book here again if we are needing to stay in this area.

Unusual property, perfect location next to Marwell zoo. Staff very attentive & helpful, especially the receptionist who checked us in. The hotel it self is lovely but the poor condition of my room was terrible. It hadn’t been cleaned not hoovered or dusted their was stains on the walls the room was in very poor condition. The bathroom was terrible no plug for the bath shower head was covered in lime scale none of the taps had been wiped. It’s was very disappointing as this was ment to be a special trip as it was our wedding anniversary and had an animal experience book in the zoo. To be honest to leave a nice clean home and pay for a room that was in that state was shocking. If the management was to spend some money in sorting out them poor standard they have let in fall into the hotel would be amazing. Seems like money could be more important than the standard of the hotel. The big question is why have management left it to get in this state ?
