Woodlands was excellent location walking distance to Windermere & Bowness, Staff were friendly and helpful.The breakfast was great having a lot of options and different times you could have breafast which we found very good. If your not driverWoodlands has a bus stop very close & good transport service that take you to all the beautiful nearby towns. We both enjoyed our stay & would recommend to family & friends.

Overnight stay !

We stayed for one night over the august bank holiday ,, absolutely lovely , we stayed in a ground floor room which overlooked the garden/ rear car park . Room was nicely decorated ,tea coffee facilities, clean , airy, with a small en suite but very comfortable and adequate,, breakfast was very good , made to order and piping hot , staff very friendly and helpful . Would definitely recommend this hotel , and will definitely return.. ohhh and bonus - free onsite parking !!

Building and decor a little tired and parking a bit difficult, but the staff were all amazing and the breakfast delicious! Room spotless and twenty minutes walk away from great pubs with live music, shops and of course the waters edge. Shout out to Gabriella who is wonderful and friendly.

Hotel was in a perfect location. It was clean, got a friendly welcoming when we checked in. She asked if we needed any help with where anything was. Showed a map and told us few places worth visiting. Room was fine nice and big very spacious. Had breakfast both mornings and was lovely. The team was lovely.
