At first I wasn't sure if I had made a mistake but the staff were lovely and the room was amazing very clean the only thing I asked for a low threshold shower but it was a very deep bath but it was only one night

I stayed a night at Rose and Crown, the room was the most affordable in the area and to my suprise its one of the most beautiful room i ever stayed at. It was perfectly clean, quiet and super unique as its a 400 year old building.

Parking was a bit of a challenge to locate myself, the gentleman on reception was very helpful, kind and friendly and directed me to the parking. Room was pleasant, the decor is outdated but there’s nothing wrong with it. It’s nice to be in a building that has lots of history to it. It’s not the cleanest or well-maintained hotel, but considering the price I paid, no complaints really. It was a very comfy bed, roof over my head and hot water - at the end of the day it’s all I needed and the staff were pleasant.
