Disappointing stay

Check in was easy with receptionist friendly and efficient room was spacious and clean No air con just heaters No bath robes thought being a spa hotel there would be in the room spa was poor Booked a table in the restaurant and went downhill . Food was not as hot as you would expect Was quiet in restaurant and wasn’t approached to see how food was . Usually a nice touch if for in my instance to mention the quality of food . Was offered a 25% discount to only find out when checking out the cost of dining was overcharged with no discount applied Strange there was no record of receipt Lady on reception again really polite and helpful sorted bill out but never got 25% discount on food which I should of queried but glad to leave

Great place tonstay

Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was excellent, very clean and tidy. The bed was a little firm for us, but didn’t spoil things too much. We breakfast in the morning and the food was really nice. The hotel is well located and the grounds are very nice. Would happily recommend it to anyone.

Very poor customer service

Checked in fine and straightforward and lovely evening meal. But went to bed at 10pm and my room was situated right above the bar and close to the stairs, I had to call reception at 11pm as extremely loud and rowdy group of guests so couldn’t get to sleep, eventually had enough so went downstairs at midnight as couldn’t tolerate anymore, after this the bar closed but barely slept after that. Then went for breakfast and the waitress asked for my room number and showed me to my table, I then proceeded to get my breakfast at the buffet. It was then in front of several other guests the waitress came upto me and said you haven’t paid for breakfast to be included , I insisted I had but she wasn’t listening so I had to go reception and then the receptionist even said I hadn’t paid for it either. Once I got my banking app open and showed them I had they said sorry. But this was certainly not good enough and very unprofessional.
