Nice stay but chaotic breakfast

Nice accommodation, breakfast is a bit of a shambles. I shouldn't have to queue 15 minutes for a breakfast table when at least 8 were empty and just needed cleared. No real complaints about the rest of the stay, they just need a much better breakfast system and have a few more options in the hot buffet

Situated in a lovely village where we went out to eat but the food there looks very good also. We went to the bar and played pool in the games room and also used there gym. Bed was comfortable and even got biscuits in the room so would say this is definitely value for money!

Pit stop hotel, basic, slow breakfast

We arrived late ish around 8pm and despite being thenonly ones checking in the manager decided he was more important to stop the lady checking us in and ask her to put something on someones tab! Let the customer check in first! Breakfast we had to wait 30 mins to be seated with only 4 couples in front of us. Either the staff need more training on how to run breakfast or their is nit enough equipment to deal with 240 people staying. You know how many people are staying, put the rigbt number of staff on. All the staff were lovely except the same one from check in who told people off for waiting for food, raged at other diners that people arent patent enough. Ive been to lots of hotels and they all cope, figure it out and dont brerate people Oh and the room had a spider hanging down pver the bed as we walked in.

Care home that hasn't been renovated!

Hotel was a disappointment more like a care home and old dated furniture and fixtures in the bedroom. The worst was the ensuite bathroom simply awful! Dirty and had not been dusted for months! The disabled facilities (we did not ask for any disabled aids) were old and one of the grab handles near the bath was coming off the wall. Health and Safety risk. Will not be returning!

Lovely hotel

Very helpful staff , all lovely & polite staff . The 3 rooms were all clean & nice . The grounds are beautiful and kept well . The hotel is lovely . The food in the resturant , breakfast really nice and food in the evening was beautiful .

Overall the stay was fine Friday saturday night however the bathroom light didnt work causing issues having a shower as i would get fined if i set the alarm off due to steam I reported it sat am and on coming back from the races i found it still not working causing the same issue sunday morning

I couodnt get anuthing to eat on the first night because there was a coach load eating. Was told bo food between 6 amd 8.30. Breakfast served from 7 am so couldnt have that either, i wasnt offered continental or any other offer.
