The hotel was great, quite modern and well decorated. There were quite a few in house dining restaurants and the beach pavilion and promenade was amazing. The facilities were great and staff ultra professional and friendly. The breakfast was good and room clean and quite soundproof.

Checking in was the absolute worst. Our room was not ready and we had to wait after a long day of flying. Then it took us 45 minutes to find our room.There is no map around the hotel and there was only one working elevator. Then when we finally found it, the room key didn’t Work and the front desk claimed I didn’t have a room when I was just at the front desk. Turned out my room # was wrong on the card pad. There’s charges and fees they don’t explain or tell you about upon check in. Beautiful area, but poor experience for over $600. I could have gotten a much cheaper hotel with better experience.

Our AC didn’t work. Then the overhead fan didn’t work. Terrible lighting and even had some without light bulbs. Cob webs. Cracked tiles replaced with mismatched tiles. Looks grand and nice but very run down. Won’t stay there again.

This was our second year staying at the Hilton Daytona Oceanfront for the JROTC Nationals competition, and unfortunately, it will be our last. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting—dirty toilet and shower, wads of hair left behind, and no lighting in the room made it feel even worse. Only one of the three elevators in our tower was working, leading to wait times of up to 45 minutes. On the 8th floor, the down button didn’t work, so we had to ride up just to go down. The hotel was noisy and chaotic, with kids dangerously jumping from what they call “balconies” down onto the roof below. The entire place felt dated, under construction, and generally unclean. Parking is expensive and located far away in an unsafe area—someone was even robbed at gunpoint nearby. On top of all that, the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, making the stay even more frustrating. This property does not live up to the Hilton name. We’ll definitely be staying elsewhere next year.

Disappointed Stay – Not as Advertised I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The pictures online were very misleading—the room looked bright and modern in the photos, but in reality, there were no ceiling lights, only a few very dim lamps that barely lit the space. To make matters worse, I couldn’t rely on natural light because there was construction happening right outside my window. The workers and all their equipment were blocking any daylight, making the room feel dark. I completely understand that construction happens, but better communication and accommodations would’ve helped. When I brought up my concerns to the front desk, they were unwilling to offer any assistance simply because I booked through Expedia.

Definitely read the fine print! $30/day self park (they say across the street but it's not close at all) $40/day valet! $75/day "resort" fee is only worth it if you have kids or want to eat at one of their expensive restaurants. The pool should not be part of the resort fee IMO, Held $525 on my cc when my receipt only showed $196. I will NEVER stay at another Hilton again! I am also tired of getting "Standard" responses to the problems I had. Also, NO EASY BEACH ACCESS! If you have any type of problems walking, you probably won't be able to walk to the access!

1. Elevators need repairs: noisy, shaky, floor display inaccurate 2. Shampoo bottle/dispenser was empty. Asked for more shampoo and it took over 45 minutes. 3. TV had no signal one night. Would not recommend this stay. Our room was not fully clean. Our safe didn’t work. We arrived at 2pm and they said our room wasn’t ready they said they would call us when it was ready and we never got a call until 4pm when we went to check in. It was ready and seemed like they just never took the effort to call earlier. Had one elevator working so there was huge lineups just to get to ur floor. Parking lot also had broken gates. But still got charged $30 to park there.

Not what we expected from a Hilton Hotel

The staff was nice and professional. They helped us check in early and gave us a free breakfast due to the fact that the ac did not work in our room. The room it self was below the Hilton standard. Furniture was shabby at best including the small glass table that was discolored and full of paint chips. The mini frig was on the floor rather than on a snall table. The carpet looked dirty and the couch was torn and over used. Mamy common areas were under repair and the pool bar food took nealry an hour to arrive even though capacity was very low. Truly we expected much more from Hilton Hotel. Especially based on price vs accommodations.
