The Space:

Morning light filters in with the coastal breeze, and the rhythm of the beach sets the tone for the day. Just one home back from the shoreline, your stay naturally flows between sandy walks, relaxed afternoons by the pool, and evenings gathered together across spacious indoor and outdoor living areas. The setting feels easy and comfortable, with plenty of room to enjoy time together while still having space to unwind.



Salty Skipper is an entire home in Destin, updated in 2024 and designed to accommodate up to 16 guests across two thoughtfully arranged levels. Beach access is directly off the street, keeping the Gulf close throughout your stay.



First floor - sleeps 12

The first floor is designed as a central gathering space for larger groups. It features two king master suites, each with a private bathroom and sleeping two guests. A bunk room offers two sets of queen over queen bunks, sleeping up to eight and ideal for kids or group stays. This level also includes the first living room, furnished with a deep seating sectional sofa and a 70-inch Smart TV, along with a fully stocked kitchen for easy meals and snacks. Step outside to a large deck with seating and access to the pool area, where the huge swimming pool becomes a natural place to spend the day.



Second floor - sleeps 4

The second floor offers a quieter retreat with two additional king master suites, each with its own bathroom and sleeping two guests. A second living room mirrors the comfort of the first, with a deep seating sectional sofa and a 70-inch Smart TV. This level also includes a fully stocked kitchen, a dining room with a large table and chairs for shared meals, and a laundry room for added convenience. A spacious private balcony with Adirondack seating overlooks the Gulf of Mexico, providing a relaxed spot to enjoy the coastal air.



Outdoor living

The pool anchors the outdoor space and may be heated for the duration of your reservation at an additional nightly fee of $75.00. Please note that pool heat is seasonal and only available for request October through May. Patio and backyard areas offer space to relax outdoors, and beach access is close by, with beach essentials available for your use.



Amenities and comfort

The home includes WiFi, Smart TVs throughout, washer and dryer, bathroom essentials, and air conditioning and heating for year-round comfort. Families will find a pack ’n play, children’s books and toys, and children’s dinnerware. Free parking is available on the premises.



Pet-friendly details

The property allows a maximum of two dogs. A fee of $150.00 per dog per stay applies.

Guests are within walking distance to several restaurants and attractions, with shopping, entertainment, and Destin highlights nearby. Downtown Destin is easily accessible, and rideshare services, bike rentals, and public transportation are readily available, making it easy to explore the area.
