Wirklich herausragend ist die Toplage des Hotels - zentrumsnah und - im Falle meines Zimmers - ruhig. Fast alle Attraktionen und Busse etc. sind zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Die grossen Fenster allerdings kann man nicht öffnen.

Erstes Zimmer war nicht sauber und die Matratze war sehr unbequem und weich. Konnten einen Tag später sehr schnell und problemlos das Zimmer wechseln. Zweites Zimmer sauber und schön eingerichtet. Preis/Leistung für die Zimmer stimmt nicht - Preis viel zu hoch. Lage ist gut.

Cozy, Scottish traditional hotel within the city

Pros: That it was decorated like a traditional old scottish house.
Cons: Better mattresses and better splash protection in the shower.
Location: One is fast in Old or New Town or at the Waverley station.
The room was nicely decorated and cozy. The bed however a bit too soft. The bathroom was very beautiful. Very quiet location.

Excellent stay.

Pros: The room was wonderful, matching the old fashioned charm of the reception area.
Cons: By no means a complaint, but the breakfast 'bistrot' seems a little out of keeping with the rest of the hotel ?
A real 'find': a lovely old-fashioned, comfortable, small hotel that you don't think exists anymore. Central to the 'new town', Waverley station and away from the tourist traps. Charming staff and a superb room.

allez visitez la chambre no 2 au 1er étage...

Pros: La décoration, la situation de l'hôtel et le petit déjeuner.
Cons: Tout est à refaire dans l'écoulement des eaux, la salle de bain inimaginable pour un trois étoiles.Du jamais vu!
Dommage, un hôtel très bien situé dans une rue calme, l'intérieur est cosy, charmant. Mais alors ! un accueil désagréable, une chambre exigüe et la salle de bain tout simplement indescriptible...(moisissures, douche fixe ! serrure défectueuse, mauvais écoulement lavabo etc. L'inacceptable est le bruit de l'écoulement des eaux WC-DOUCHE. De 20h au petit matin on avait l'impression de recevoir les eaux usées sur nos têtes...
