Disabled access. We came for my mothers birthday as a family of 4. My mother is in a wheelchair so i specifically chose a hotel with disabled access. We were given a lovely room but unfortunately the lift did not access the room and there were 2 flights of stairs. Because of this we had to swap rooms for an accessible one which was half the size. Upon checkout we then came to realise the lift was out of use durle to being serviced. At this point there was only my sister and mother. My sisterhad to carry the wheelchair down from floor 6 to 3, then go back for bags, then assist my mam down multiple staircases which had her in agony by the time she got to the bottom. Common sense would have avoided lift maintenance during checkout time.

Excellent spacious apartment in the heart of Edinburgh. Very clean, great amenities will definitely return again. Only thing that let it down was no WiFi, but wasn’t in the apartment enough to be a worry for us.

We were checked into aparetment 102. On first impression the apartment looked clean but as we settled in it was clear that the open plan living room floor had not been sufficiently cleaned as there were sticky spillage marks around the kitchen space. The bedroom carpets looked as though they hadn't been vaccumed and there were large stains on the carpets. The tiles in the bathroom are a hazard as the grouting has completely come away on some of the flooring and around the bath. When stepped on you which was unavoidable, they moved underfoot. Decor was fine, but tired. We had to close all of the curtains in the apartment as it was freezing when we arrived but many of them had come away from the rail. The large rug that's pictured in the property detail photos was found rolled up in a cupboard when looking for amentieties. On a more positive note, the beds were comfy enough and the location is good. All in all - a fine apartment for a one night rest but it could do with some TLC and

The apartment was nice, adorable view from my window but I was asked to leave with a 12 hour notice because Sounder’s contract with Marriot had ended and they could no longer “honor” my reservation. Expedia did its magic and they transferred me to a hotel, thank God.

The building is located in walking distance to old town and has good amenities such as coffee maker and Nest. However, the customer support is below average and the building condition is poor. Even though the reservation page said they have elevator, but it is only available until 5th floor and they gave us a room at 6th floor. I have requested many times to change our room because we had luggage but the front desk and customer support were not helpful and rude! They kept saying it is JUST one flight of stairs... We had to carry luggage to the room and at the checkout with no assistance from the building. Overall, a poor stay at this building and do not recommend.

Clean rooms and great quiet location in New Town. Walking distance to Waverly Station, Royal Mile and lots of places to eat and drink. Staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely consider staying there again while in Edinburgh.

I originally thought that I had reserved a suite with more beds. It worked out well anyway. The suite was comfortable and pleasant. I loved looking out over the garden. We actually saw two foxes hanging out in the garden. The staff was kind and helpful.

Central location. Easy access, felt secure and safe. Apartment was clean. Down side was the fire alarm going off at 8am on Monday morning. No fault of anyone’s just a sharp Wake up call.

Great location in New Town with Old Town just few walkable minutes away. Tram & main train station nearby. Could enjoy Fringe, Tatoo, Film and Book festivals and come back to comfortable space.
