The room was clean and comfy. However, the bathtub was too high, making it inaccessible for one of us who has mobility issues. Also, there are steps coming into the property. This should be a consideration for others who use mobile devices.

The hotel was very neat and clean. The staff were very helpful. The position of the hotel was in easy walking distance of many major shops and restaurant. Easy and affordable ride in a taxi from the train station. Will definitely revisit this hotel again in the future.

The hotel was great. Big windows, great architecture in the hotel and in a really accessible spot. They provided fans as well for the rooms which was great because it doesn't have AC and we went in July. Can be a bit noisy at night time but it quiets down around midnight. To be expected based on the location

Great location but generally unimpressed with the room for the cost. Beds moderately comfortable, bathroom very small with kids sized toilet. Just didn't compare to the hotel we had earlier in the trip in London for about the same cost. They do a nice job with what they have but again for the $$ I will probably look elsewhere. Reception staff very nice and accommodating. Offered to hold our bags at check out if we wanted to explore more.

Great location if you want to walk around Edinburgh. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable! The room was clean and very nice. The bathroom was also exactly what you want and need. If there was one thing constructive to say, the mattress was super hard and I found it uncomfortable But I would Absolutely stay there again!

Hotel is close to Edinburgh Castle, museums, shopping, restaurants and the tram. Very clean facilities but no a/c and we were not provided a fan, which would have helped to drown out the noise from the street below. It’s a very nice hotel and like I said, everything is close, just bring a sound machine or ear plugs.

We were upgraded to a spacious two level room with an extra bed. It was comfortable and the beds were nice and firm. The toiletries were lovely and eco-friendly and the push button shower system was easy to use. Unfortunately, the room was warm even when we requested that the heating be turned off and with the window open and the fan on. It was bearable but it would have been a fabulous room if there was some way to vent the warm air in the upstairs portion of the room. That said, the view upstairs was amazing of the Firth of Forth. The staff were helpful for directions and the daily breakfast at Rabble restaurant (included) had lots of delicious options to fuel you for your walking explorations. The hotel was central and a short walk to Princes Street and the gardens there.

Great location in New Town. Pretty quiet in the evenings compared to the tourist crush in Old Town. Tons of great restaurants a short walk from hotel, but kitchens may close early. Staff was professional but not overly friendly. Hotel was clean and modern.
