The rooms and facility were more of a 3 star at most, than a 4 star facility. Had two rooms for special family vacation, which is why chose this resort. Had mold in the bathroom sink where it meets the counter, and paint hand prints on wooden part of the door from the interior paint. Amenities were a joke with check in and check out times, not to mention they close the pool and hot tub area pretty early. Additionally, chairs and umbrellas are an extra charfe due to city vendor; however, we stayed at another nearby resort where the resort actually takes care of that fee...for what is charged this resort they could have done the same. This hotels pics even on their own web site are definitely dated, with hotel older and not as in good as shape as presented. Very disappointed with the condition, amenities, and all the extra fees! Location was very good! Won't be staying here again.

We immediately noticed a smell in the room when we walked through the door. We did let the front desk know, they said they would do extra cleaning. We realized on day 2 it was coming from the drain in shower. We were disappointed with the up keep of the room for a Marriot. We expected more. The balcony was small and needs cleaning!!! The location was good and breakfast served at restaurant was good. Just expected the property to be a little more maintained as it is a Marriot.
