We came as part of a couples vacation. The glass on the terrace is filthy, you can’t sit and watch the beach, you can’t see through the glass. Noisy - the restaurants play really loud music most of the night. That was expected but not the level of sound like vibrating through the walls. Construction: The building in under construction. That would have been nice to know! Especially for the company doing the work. 8:00am and the banging started right outside our room, and then a man popped out the bathroom window and started doing work in the bathroom window while we were there! My husband was so mad and yelled at the man to get out, which he did after yelling back, and then the whole room smelled like chemicals, so we had to leave! It was terrible and not relaxing and not how I pictured our couples vacation.

Would have liked new sheets and towels in the middle of the week.USB receptacles did not work anywhere in the room. Terrace was the nicest thing. Tap water had a slightly light brown tinge when filled in a white coffe cup. Not appealing.

Our room was very clean. Manager top notch. I felt like we had the best room in the place. No problem parking. He made sure. I used the washer and dryer. $4.00 total. We bought our own food for most meals. This was our 3rd time staying here. This is our go to hotel for Hollywood Beach FL. Will definitely be back.

They are currently doing some updates and renovations but that was made clear before I booked. Honestly I barely noticed as the bigger/noisier work appeared to be mostly done so I benefitted from fresh paint and updates! Room was big, clean, and quiet - even when the boardwalk music outside was loud! Furnishings were basic, but comfortable. Lots of closet space if you're an unpacker! Simple kitchen with small fridge & stove, sink, coffee maker, and basic cabinet supplies included. Patio was a lovely bonus to be at the beach without the sand, but there were also beach chairs to take down when you wanted. Only negatives: It is up a flight of stairs without an elevator - this was fine for me, but would be a challenge for some. Also, there was no bathtub in my unit - only a shower - but also this was completely fine with me! Neither of these things took away from what I needed, but I wanted to note it for others if that is important to you.

The room was not clean, did not come with several of the services it offered such as housekeeping, free parking, 24/7 front desk and staff, and washer and dryer in room. They provided a space heater for the entire room for 50 degree nights aswell as all of the furniture is old and wornout. The entire building was being painted and there was loud construction and remodling our entire stay. The music from restaurants below the "motel" was so loud it was hard to sleepI did not feel safe with my daughter, and they would not give me a refund. I do not recommend this place, I dont know if I would even let my dog stay here.

Overall, the experience was great! I was here for the beach experience and the convenience of access to the beach, which you cannot beat. Amenity-wise, there’s not much offered, as it’s a low-budget motel. With that, some things were interesting (but aren’t deal breakers for me personally), such as no shower curtain, about 20” of space in front of the toilet, fridge in front of the light switches, and no hand towel or shower towel hooks to hang the towels. Nonetheless, the staff were helpful and friendly, and it was a great, affordable place to crash for a couple of nights, as I didn’t need anything special for my stay. I rate it overall four stars due to some miscellaneous inconveniences, but would totally stay here again if doing another solo-couple night trip.
