The bathroom was outdated, moldy, and cracked. The door to the room was rusted and cracked and the door to the bathroom was also falling apart at the bottom. There was no AC in the bathroom/closet area and the kitchen was severely not taken care of.

Tropical Isle Hotel in Hollywood, FL is not as advertised on the website. The pictures online may have been taken years ago when the building was in better condition but do not depict the place now. The manager was extremely friendly and nice during our stay but the accommodations were not up to par. The building is in major need of renovations. The bathroom in particular had mold and rust stains. The stove in the kitchen area was rusty and the walls, doors, and baseboards are ragged and dirty. I also did not feel safe staying here after seeing some of the other clientele. I have learned my lesson about finding a discounted price. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. I have no idea where all of these people making raving reviews about this property are staying because it’s definitely nothing like they say it is. I would not come back and do not recommended.

This is a perfect little spot for a quick getaway. The beach is right there You walk along the beach and you have several dining options. The vibe is amazing. The owner is extremely pleasant and very accommodating. I am definitely recommending this place, and I myself would go back for another stay.

I've stayed in Hollywood Beach at least 8 times, and this was definitely one of my favorite stays! Check-in was easy and smooth. Location was perfect. The property and room were clean. Loved the umbrellas and chairs available to use. Great places to sit outside and enjoy on the property, too!

Do not stay! I repeat. It is not worth it. The front desk is a little Hispanic guy who knows little English. I had no electricity in half the apartment including the kitchen and bathroom. I couldn’t see how to turn on the shower which was built In 1960s. I complained the next morning and he said we will get technician. I never saw him again and he stopped responding to messages or texts. Hotels.com won’t help you either. Literally no electricity!!! How is this place even in business. A total dump. And still wouldn’t refund my stay. Scam alert!

Nothing in the property that was stated is included, they don't have any welcome gift they don't have breakfast they don't have cooking utensils for you to cook they don't have a fire extinguisher they don't have a hair dryer they don't have coffee for the coffee maker they don't have a tea maker they don't have anything that stated on the list. There was some construction and the noise was loud next door to me, also the need to pay for parking is ridiculous after you already paying for the room upon checking in and checking out there was nobody in the office so I had to wait outside for 30 minutes to check in for somebody to show up there was no mirror in the bathroom so I can see myself it just was an overall not a great experience will not come again
