I was not informed about the shuttle. That would have really been helpful especially since im paying for it under resort fees! The mandatory Valet fees I'm sure were in the small print but I didnt notice them until after the rooms were booked.

Really great relaxing trip at Parrot Key. Stayed in a partial Ocean view room with was fantastic! Really great mudslides served at the pool bar! Just wish the food was better!

No value for money

The place is beautiful and well-maintained, great for families. However, I wouldn’t return, as there’s really not much to do in the area. It was mentioned that shuttles to Key West are available, but when we asked at 5 PM, we were told the shuttles don’t operate at that time. The room price was very high for what we received. Parking wasn’t included and had to be paid separately, as well as breakfast. To upgrade the room for an ocean view, we were asked to pay an additional $100. For the total amount we ended up paying, we could have booked a great hotel directly in Key West, which would have made a lot more sense for us. If you’re staying far from the main attractions, either pay less—or at least get some extras included.

On the positive side, the hotel grounds are lovely and the rooms are very spacious. Good drinks at the bar and the sunset hammocks are a nice feature. The staff was also attentive and friendly. On the downside, we didn’t love the area around the hotel - it’s off a busy four lane road that made it quite noisy if we were on the balcony and didn’t really offer anything to do near the hotel. Ubers were easy but added up. The rooms could also use some updating. Finally, while we knew the pools were small, they were smaller than anticipated and very warm - almost like hot tubs.

Don’t let the pictures and reviews fool you ! I chose this place based on the 9.0 reviews … every time I visit key west I stay at oceans key resort which is amazing , I decided to give this place a chance bacause it had amazing reviews and looked lovely on the pictures . Reality is this is more like a motel , it’s right behind a Home Depot on a busy street , the hotel is old dirty and loud . Staff isn’t friendly at all, I walked inn to the smelly old room and walked right out … DO NOT stay here u will be highly disappointed.

A great option or u want to tour key west or just stay at the resort and relax. Food was pricey but very good. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable
