Hotel was clean, staff was very nice and helpful, and it was very conveniently located to the airport and the Mall of America. Only had one little issue with the room hair dryer and the staff rectified it immediately. Breakfast is a very light one…waffles, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, bagels/toast, fruit, and honey buns…but was perfect for our liking. Would highly recommend this place.

Immediately when I walked in I noticed the building was old. Everything was run down. I was told by the check in clerk that my room had been upgraded to a larger room with a couch and a desk. The couch was a white leather couch from another era. The desk was in a little nook as you went into the bathroom and way too low for me to use. The carpet was old and was bunched up in several places making it easy to trip. The walls were “repaired” with spackling and just left as is. The worst shocker was the bathroom. There were holes in the walls in two places where plumbing repairs had been made and the holes left open. My room was on the bottom floor and on a breeze way. All night long people walked past my room. There was never a moment of peace. My “neighbors” above me smoked marijuana and only went to bed after I got up for the morning at 5:00 am. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

The “Best” Review!

The reviews are accurate regarding the very very dire need for upgrade in every sense of the word. Pool is entirely out of order with materials in it from some work that may have started years ago. And all paint from ceilings to wall paper, mattresses to all grout and furniture, and carpets need changing. Old machinery in the hallways have got to go straight to the garbage dump! Squeaky mattresses too! But I cannot say we had a bad stay. It was clean, there were no roaches, bugs, nor strange things. And we got the non-smoking area we asked for. One cannot expect a 4-star hotel for a 2-star price. The sleep was good and silent. Front desk customer service was exceptional, and for whoever wants a nice morning surprise, the lot’s NE corner has a delightful little picnic and BBQ area worth sitting at for a warm sunrise welcome from the East! To the Hotel Manager: What decade are you waiting for to upgrade and get your good 5-star up to the level of your property you have? It’s a fantastic building with incredible potential! Why let it die and rot this way? Change your full perspective or sell it to someone who sees the opportunity of making this a real “Best Hotel”. Right now its nothing of a “Best”. It looks like you inherited it and let it die with your pains. Cluttering garbage where you can get away with putting it. But if that is so, this place was a real blessing once. Remember God will judge by what we do with what He gave us… what you sow is what you’ll reap!

Absolutely disgusting. Room smelled musty, poor conditions overall and that was even when they upgraded me to one of their better suites. Guaranteed never to stay again. Would have left if i could have found anything else at 11pm when we arrived. Almost slept in the car!

Well the office attendant was amazing. Very welcoming, sweet and accommodating. The rooms though horrible enough space yes. But the paint peeling off walls there is a literal gap behind the toiler and wall that looks like it seperates all the way to the first floor, the bath tub nob is literally a screw you turn, and shower head leaks to the roof. $120 dollars for a night id never stay here again.

Not eorth the high price

There was some problem at check-in using my business card to pay for the room. Luckiky, it was able to be resolved. I cant believe it was $100/night for ghis room. Ive stayed in better motels for $50/night. The smoke detector was beeping from low battery and i called the front desk and they never did anything about it so i just disconnected it. The room smells bad, like wet carpet or something. It's in serious need of a renovation. The area it's in is kind of not so nice, and on our 2nd night someone was playing loud bass in the parking lot until 2am. You can also hear your neighbors through the adjoining walls, so that's fun. And also, just look at the pic of the bathroom. The only positives i can say is the water stayed hot for my shower and i didnt see any bugs.
