Lovely, quaint little hotel in the heart of one of The Villages. Beautiful little pool area with a nice bar/restaurant right on the lake. Almost like it was planned. Like everything in The Villages - well done! ESPECIALLY the Staff - thank you all!

Acceptable if you need to visit the villages.

The first impression was they weren't friendly at the front desk. The room was fine, but the whole place seemed like they were trying to appear like an older hotel. Fake, in a Disney kind of way. I also don't like that they asked for my number and immediately started texting me offers.

We enjoyed our stay at The Waterfront Inn but housekeeping was Terrible! Nice pool area & returant bar area. Our room was never cleaned properly. Bathroom sink was Never cleaned even when we asked for housekeeping to come back. The bed never looked made.

The locstion was perfect .We could walk to many restaurants and music outside every night if we wanted. My only complaint is I thought we got a great deal with expedia and found it cheaper by $90 a night to book directly with the hotel.

The hotel is doing some freshening/renovations, but it was still very quiet. The Calypso restaurant has really good food and a beautiful outdoor area overlooking the lake. It is a short walk to Town Square, so very convenient. The only issue is that there is no designated hotel parking, so parking after 5 pm can be sparse due to the nightly entertainment at the square. We really enjoyed our stay.

Been coming to the Inn for many years to visit family. Kudos to the up grades and removal of the pineapple wall paper. It's nice to see the modern upgrade to the front desk and the redo of the bar area. Some suggestions: Comp coffee was terrible (burnt flavor) keep guests from going to Starbucks please. Dining tables and chairs in Calypso seem cheap and dated. I felt like I was in an IHop. Some high tops would be nice. Great new view however.
