All fine except the air con in the rooms is broken, so the room was a little chilly. Would prefer to have been made aware at time of booking rather than a notice on reception counter. The air con / heating had not been working for some time and did not have a date for rectification.

The room wasn't sound proofed as advertised. The cleaners cupboard was next to our room and it was constantly banging closed while we were trying to have a nap before our night out. And we could hear the people in the room above. There is not enough storage space, a few coat hooks wild help. The sofa had stains on it. Need more

Air con making noises all night. Second night, air con was leaking onto the floor. Reported to reception, solution was bucket and towell underneath the air con, but was still making noises all night. So, no proper rest for the 2 nights.

we stayed here for one night as we were attending an event at the O2. We had a lovely stay and no complaints. The hotel is easily accessible via tube, DLR and bus, and the breakfast was good value.

IHG have a standard that the chain insists on for its hotel partners. Rooms are minimalist at best at exhorbitant rates. Carpets are old and stained and the shower show signs of mildew. 3 hangers in mind room for a one week stay. I requested more on 3 occasions and got 0 (zero). The budget iron and the iron board was the only perk I saw. No AC so I had to leave the window open and withstand the street noise all night. Please try to care more about your guests than your bottom line.

Staff walk in to our room,

I booked this hotel expecting a comfortable stay, but my experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. We booked a double bed for two, but at check-in the receptionist told us that even though they could see our booking, no double bed was available. They claimed it was “subject to availability,” but I could not find this anywhere in the terms and conditions. Maybe if there is, I accepted it but No advance notice was given either. When we entered the room, several issues became clear: • The card reader for electricity was faulty. • The air conditioning did not work. • The security latch/chain on the door was missing, leaving us feeling unsafe. • The carpet was stained and poorly maintained. The worst incident happened on 30 August 2025 at around 3:35 PM, when a staff member entered our room with a master key without knocking. My partner was in the bathroom at the time, and this invasion of privacy was shocking. The staff member simply said “sorry” and left. This is completely unacceptable — what if I had been undressed or in an intimate moment? This experience left us feeling unsafe, disrespected, and extremely disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until they address these serious issues with room maintenance, guest privacy, and overall professionalism
