The best part of this property was the breakfast buffet and the kind server, Jasmeta who greeted us every morning with a smile. Unfortunately, our room was dusty, towels were removed daily but never replaced for our 4 guests until we asked, the TV did not work properly for the entire week and the outdoor Skyline area was closed. We brought the concerns to the front desk reps who told us the TVs were out in the entire hotel. With limited amenities during our stay, this hotel was not worth the price we paid.

1st room2089 smelled of cleaner covering a vomit smell? Changed to 2057 which smelled of cig smoke in Bathroom and was very hot. AC could not keep up. Set up for charging phones and plugs unacceptable, had to move furniture. Adaptor doesn’t fit in provided slot on desk.

Hotel was nice. Service was great. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant bar and it was good. We did have an issue with the tv turning on and off constantly so told the front desk and they had maintenance come fix asap. I think they need more signs in the hallways to direct you back to a lift/elevator. This hotel is HUGE and you can get lost trying to find a lift. Hotel was quiet so was able to get a good nights rest.

This by far was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. This hotel should certainly not have a 4 star rating. It is a horrible embarrassment to the Bonvoy Marriott brand. Literally the only saving grace of this hotel is that the staff was friendly and helpful. I had a 4 rooms with 5 night stay for our group. The AC did not work, the TV’s did not work, the refrigerator in one room did not work. The furniture is worn. The carpet though stained and lifting with rolls and creases. There is no cover sheet in any room, just a duvet as a cover. The tubs and deep and very slippery. The face bowl and floor tiles cracked in multiple places. The pillow on the beds ridiculously flat. Even if folded thrice you wouldn’t be comfortable. I cannot recall ever having such a horrible experience. This hotel should be a 1 star rating and removed from the Marriott brand. Once again it’s only saving grace was the professional and courteous staff.

Had to move room three times. AC in all three rooms didn’t work. Bathtub drain clogged and repairman tried to use a gross toilet plunger to unclog. Staff was nice but that’s about all I can say.

Positives - great view of the runway and good parking. Negatives - really poor room, very dated and old, bathroom tiny (especially the shower cubicle), felt unclean with hairs on the floor and carpet didn’t look hoovered, tv had a mind of its own and kept coming on and turning off! I would expect more of a Sheraton!

Check in was good with friendly staff! Booked 3 rooms for family for one night lay over. All 3 rooms had a television that switched itself off and on every 5 seconds! Complained numerous times and asked to be moved. Was told there was a problem with all of the hotel and they were working on it! But reception and bar televisions worked fine! Felt we were being lied too, and they were old t.vs not being replaced in many of the rooms. The air conditioning control unit was broken and half missing. Only decaf coffee available in the room. Had to ask for regular, which took staff ages to locate. A disappointing stay at this hotel! On check out they tried to offer free starbucks as compensation! No time to take advantage of the offer!

The Sherston was not only convenient, but quuite comfortable. My one complaint was the restautant. Very noisy and the food was just OK. The only other choice was Indian and flat out cant stand Indian food, way to spicy for me.

The room was very dated. You could feel the springs in the bed. There were no outlets beside the bed to charge your phone. When everyone uses their phone as an alarm, not being able to keep your phone on charge in the evening was an inconvenience.

The rooms look tired. The first room they gave us hadn’t been properly vacuumed or mopped; the second room they gave us after I went back to the front desk was small, extremely beat up with broken woodwork and a broken thermostat. The third room was much better, but still tired looking. I don’t think the in room phones worked (no one ever answered). It took 3 requests over 4 hours to get face cloths for our room. Front desk staff was apologetic and looked like they wanted to help , but clearly the hotel was under staffed. In short, a real letdown from my last visit there a couple of decades ago.
