I have stayed at this property many times as it is local to friends and family, hotel is run down and I desperate need of a refurbishment. Convenient location for my need. Hotel is very over priced. I was told on arrival continental breakfast was not included which it was Breakfast was okay

Dear Wendy, Thank you for your review, The hotel is undergoing extended refurbishment, and will be welcoming guest with the new restaurant, patio and updated rooms. Continental breakfast is included in most of the room rates but not all off them.

Hotel extremely tired. Many elements of room broken - window latches, fixtures / fittings / tiling in bathroom, walls , surrounds. I had a partial large plastic bathroom pipe that had been cut and capped - next to my bed !! Breakfast experience extremely poor. Would rate 2* at very very best. shame as great location

Dear David Thank you for taking your time to review Tudor Hotel. after the COVID, hotel is now under the new ownership and total refurbishment is undertaken to rebrand and bring hotel to the highest standard (including outside areas, restaurant, patio etc.). We hope you will visit us again in a near future so we could provide you with our best customer care and comfortable stay.

I have stayed at Tudor Lodge previously so knew that it was not going to be wonderful. The room we stayed in was quite nice, clean and tidy, bed was comfortable. Stairs to room very steep so would not be suitable for everyone. Reasonably priced for a weekend stay

Thank you for your feedback. Tudor Lodge is a 2 nd Degree listed building, there is very little what we can change , unfortunately.

The hotel generally whilst pleasant needs considerable upgrading in terms of plumbing / painting + decorating / finishings.
