A homeless shelter would be nicer than this place did not stay looked and walked out still waiting on a refund would never use Expedia for anything ever again do not recommend this app

I made this mistake twice in a short amount of time. Out of necessity I sought out the cheapest place to stay on Expedia for Miami Beach. Worst decision Their staff is incredibly frustrating to work with. They simply don’t care. I reserved two rooms, one bed each. Very simple, two separate spaces with one bed each. They screwed up my reservation and I was not the only one with an issue Several people before me had reserved two rooms and only one shows in their system. The staff response is, take it up with Expedia, you get what you get. Check in for several of these rooms like mine, are ten blocks away from the office. I had to walk there and back twenty blocks because the staff forgot to activate my card. Another client was just simply locked out after a day of stay. Every time I stop by the office there’s someone with a problem They also charged me their “resort fee” and deposit an extra time saying that the card didn’t go through. When it indeed DID. Now I have to report fraud. There is no heating in the rooms. The thermostat is there for show. The bathrooms were given to us dirty and room service cleans the room after you already are in. They don’t prep the rooms for you. I had to wait 2 hours to get checked in to wait for the room. And it wasn’t even clean. You ask for help or someone to talk to, they say nobody is available. They gave me an email that bounced back. Their number doesn’t work because nobody ever answers. Theres so much wrong. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

It was clean and the parking was close. In general the staff was good with an exception, when I called about the deposit warranty refund the girl that answered my call seemed to be upset and hung up the phone. The building has a leak, and they didn’t tell me. But in general the building is nice and very comfortable.

The check in is not at the address shown in Expedia. When you go to that location, you find a note on the door that the check is at yet another location! It’s takes FOREVER to check in. A $30 resort fee charge for what is a converted, low end apt building?? And NO PARKING! Absolutely bad experience. I will be asking for a refund as I had to book a different hotel

Beachside All Suites - January 2025

I made the reservation on Hotels.com. A part of the charge was processed by the reservation website, and another part for $360 was payable at the hotel. Instead, the hotel charged a higher amount of $410, and claimed that it was a mistake by Hotels.com. It took multiple calls to the customer service to get a refund. I was told by the reception desk that such problems are common. So it is better to prepay in full either through the reservation site or through the hotel's own site to avoid them blaming each other for reservation mistakes. The rooms do not look like pictures and are located in different building at different addresses, so there is no point of picking your room based on pictures or the description. The reception desk is currently only at 7500 Collins. You'll need to go there every few days because the door keys stop working and need to be re-activated. Some rooms at Beachside have full-size stoves while others have only small electric ranges. Pots and pans are bad or not available at all. Knives, cutting boards and other cooking utensils are not available. If you plan to cook, bring your own or buy locally. The microwave, coffee maker and toaster are good. But no coffee filters, coffee, paper towels, tissues, salt, sugar or any other staples you might expect at an extended stay hotel or Airbnb. There were occasional bugs, mostly cockroaches, in the kitchen and the restroom. Towels were easy to exchange, so no need to bring your own. Great location next to beach.

check in process is quite complicated and the apt room was very dirty and full of bugs. They changed the hotel address twice before I checked in. When I had to check in, the front desk was closed, and I needed to go to another office to check in; they placed me in a different apartment than I had chosen before. Receptions are not very friendly and not very responsive at all. I went to the front desk to request cleaning twice; they never sent a housekeeper. The facility was very old and dirty; bugs were everywhere. Definitely not recommend.

They have to work to provide more efficient check in assistance. If you are not driving, sometimes will be hard to move with luggages and bags from the check in office to the places that they will direct you.

Spacious & nice room. Some things can be improved.

The room has good size and space. The bath was ok and the shower works perfect. There is room for improvement here: - Mattresses should be renovated. - Few kitchen utensils, no sponge. - No oven (at least in our room). In the pictures you can see there is. - Cleaning can be improved. - During night, it's a bit dark. Lights can be improved as well.
