We booked this hotel for a weekend of rest. On Saturday at 8:40 a.m., loud construction noise started and made it impossible to sleep. By 10:40 a.m., since no one answered the room intercom or hotel phone, we had to get dressed and go to the front desk. Nothing was resolved. The staff acknowledged the issue and offered to refund the travel fee, but we made it clear that this did not compensate for losing the rest we had planned. We were granted a late checkout on Sunday, and there was no noise on Sunday, which we appreciated. However, the manager never followed up and never offered an apology. While the front desk staff was polite, politeness without resolving the main problem is not helpful. I regret choosing AKA Hotel and would not stay here again.

The service from the staff, especially at the front desk, was not very friendly. The pool is located in the building across the street and appears to be quite neglected. There was no service at all—no food or beverage service available. Considering the price of the hotel, the overall experience does not match the level of service offered.

Good location for Brickell. Nice big rooms, clean and modern. We had great view over harbour. You can hear the lifts going up and down but not that loud. Would stay again.

The room was small. Too much furniture crammed into it. The furniture was visibly stained and the room/carpet was dirty. It was like a maze to get to ourcroom. Had to ride 2 elevators to get to room. No ice machine available and the refrigerator was warm. Called the front desk many times with no answer. Not worth the money at all.
