I'll be honest, it seemed a little sketchy when I walked in. But the room was fine. It hand a VERY loud window mounted air conditioning unit, but I was so tired it didn't matter. Parking here wasn't super easy either. Had to park quite a ways away. If you're traveling for work and need a cheap place to stay, this would be fine. I would not stay here with a family.

Stayed in room 302 at the end of January. First the pros: the location was great, the hotel was charming, and the room was clean. Now the cons: the mattress was old, with a significant indent, and overall very uncomfortable, and the heat didn't work in our room. We notified the front desk about the mattress and were told that since the hotel was booked, there was nothing they could do about it. When we called about the heat setting on the mini-split not working (it was in the 30s outside and the windows are not particularly well sealed), the gentleman came up to our room, acknowledged that the heater was blowing cold air, and then proceeded to tell us that since this is Florida, hotels don't have heat. Then he abruptly left and that was it. It was very dismissive and clearly a lie, since the rest of the hotel had heat blasting. We wanted to love this place, but will not be staying again.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel but it’s not at all modern. It’s cute if you are looking for an experience from the 1980s. The mattresses were very soft. I paid $330 per night but it felt more like a $100 a night hotel. The staff were nice but overall, I would not stay there again.

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and the staff were very courteous. There is a huge restaurant row a few blocks away where you can get just about any kind of food imaginable. The location is excellent.

Shower amenities were very poor. Bathroom floor got wet so we cleaned it with the shower towel mat. The mat came away almost black with dirt. Mattresses need replaced. TV channels were great. Good location. Great price.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice, clean and comfortable this boutique hotel turned out. My flights were canceled and wished I had stayed here during my whole cancelation visit (3 nights) in Miami. Jorge at the front desk was happy, kind and helpful. The night clerk was as well. If I ever have the event to stay again I will.

The only complaint I have is they charged me $100 usd on January 5th converted to Canadian $140.94 for no reason. Then they refunded me $100 usd on January 7th converted to Canadian $133.56. So I lost $7.38 Canadian for their mistake. Otherwise I really enjoyed the hotel.

I knew this was not going to be a top-end experience from beginning. It’s basically a somewhat cute hostel or pensione type place that is centrally located in Coral Gables (30 minutes from Miami Beach.) Public area is fine, rooms are okay for a pensione, cheap but clean sheets and towels. Tiny shower stall. Window A/C. Room has a musty smell when you enter in evening, but it dissipates. Definitely not worth $200 a night, but c’est la vie.

Staff was courtesy but the room smelled musty and bathroom sink did not drain properly. The window a/c unit was very noisy. Beware there is no elevator and our room was on the third floor.
