I pay extra for beach view, and they give me a room in the second floor, view to the pool. Rude customer service. Dirty rooms. Mirror with dirty black pain, not even good for a picture.Extra charge for everything even if you don’t used the extra services, they still charge you.

Property was under construction which we were informed about, updating hotel which is needed in the rooms and hallways, the lobby area, pool, beaching and everything else on the grounds was AMAZING, customer service was exceptional, friendly, helpful, polite. Iwe can’t wait to visit again.

The room had a horrible smell. The roof was leaking in my room. The key never worked. The carpet was wet. It was just a horrific state. The pool area was nice.

One star for nice bed and location

We got notice that the hotel was doing some upgrades so their might be some noise. In anticipation of that I called and asked that we be placed as far away from the noise as possible and we would most likely need early check in. Instead we got the room right next to the lobby the very CLOSEST to the noise which we wouldn't know until the next day. We arrived a little early and they got us a room right away so decided to chalk it up to that. Plus we werent going to be in the room much during the day. Just outside our room was a subwoofer that ported bass directly into our room until 10-11pm every night. Carpet was dirty/stained and badly worn everywhere inside and outside of the room. Sheets/bed appeared clean and bed was comfortable. Furniture and finishes were old/falling apart and due to be replaced. Location was amazing- walking to plenty of decent restaurants and grocery store and pier. The pool was nice but again furnishings dated/dingy. If you dont mind a little dingyness and noise until late this place will do.

I enjoyed the location of the property but overall the hotel was not what I would have expected for $300 a night plus resort fees. If you do book, I don’t suggest booking through Expedia as I booked an ocean front view room and ended up with a view of a dirty roof and a sliver of the ocean far to the left.

I’m giving 5 stars even though hotel has dated rooms. Old carpet and not best bathroom. There is renovation going on at the hotel even though we didn’t find any inconvenience ( not noise or working crew) . Hotel has pretty lobby with small coffee place. It is right on a beach next to a pier where you can fishing, walk, relax enjoying views or have a drink or dinner at the pier restaurant. I hope they will renovate rooms which will make hotel outstanding. Will come back definitely

2nd time here, brought kids this time even after finding a cockroach in our room last time. The Hotel; under construction, they warn you, wasn’t bad. Reserved "ocean view" room. Very disappointed. Feels like because we went thru Travelocity & not them directly, we were put at the furthest end room from the ocean, had a sliver of a view, feels like we got shafted. Our view was a trashy rooftop. We met people staying at the hotel who said they LOVED their new room & the update. We obviously got an old room. So, it was disappointing to hear. Room’s much smaller than last time, & had 4 of us this time, very crammed. Never enough towels, door under sink fell off the 1st time we used it (told staff, no one fixed it). Floors were very dirty, our comforter had stains, which they just kept remaking. Hair dryer’s stored in bathroom sitting on towels so beware to not have it fall on you & bruise your toe like mine. Faucet on the bathroom sink was falling apart. Many things in the room looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Took pics but there’s nowhere to post them. We were very excited to eat at the busy Beach restaurant again with an amazing menu. Things have changed. Restaurant was bought by the hotel; menu has like 15 items to choose from & very small portions for the cost (Hotdog = $16). It's no longer busy. They changed the pier, made it 'commercialized', can rent fishing stuff. Pool was great! Staff was amazing! Won’t be back for a 3rd, unfortunately.
