The front desk staff were SLAMMED last night and errors were made by an airlines and they sent a lot of angry unhappy people there when the hotel was full. They handled a lot of really unhappy tired and upset folks very professionally and kindly. They should be thanked!

Not for business, no shuttle, airport cab ri

This hotel is not for the business traveler. Called from the airport to find out status of shuttle after waiting 40 minutes. I was put on hold twice and no one came back on the line. The room has no drawers to put things. Housekeeping is every other day. I asked for my room to be cleaned when I left for meetings. It did not happen. The breakfast did not have to many healthy items, the cereal was full of sugar. not much fruit. The omelets were hard, and the sausage had no taste. It seems like it was mostly carbs. The worst part was that the shuttle does not run in the early morning. This is an airport hotel. The shuttle should operate when a guest needs it. I was told I had to take a cab. I asked the desk to call me a cab. After 20 minutes a car pulls up, not a cab. The driver says it will be $5.00 to the airport. I said it is less than a mile. He told me to call UBER. Does the front desk get a kickback? This takes advantage of tourists, which seemed to be most of the hotel. If you are going to Miami I would not stay there. It is not the Hilton I know.

I have stayed here every year over a 5 year period and watched the price go up. It is a training hotel because they don't seem able to keep staff. Be that as it may I wont stay there ever again.

The front desk staff was so welcoming! Showed us the jar of dog treats on the front desk, and welcomed our dog to sample them. Also LOVED the 10th floor bar; a view of the airport runway on one side, and the lake on the other side.

Stayed here for 1 night before a cruise. Rooms were clean, check in was easy, and there is a free breakfast. Hotel is adjacent to a small plaza with a Chipotle, Panera Bread, and Jimmy Johns. Waited for a long time for the free airport shuttle. All in all, would definitely come back here.
