A convenient place to stay with a great view by the piers. You can see the cruise ships and Ferris wheel, which adds to the experience. However, I noticed shattered glass in the elevator—not exactly a welcoming sight for a new guest. Hopefully, they address that soon, as it gives a poor impression. The area is quiet at night, which is a plus. While the TVs and phones are a bit outdated, the staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Overall, an okay stay with room for improvement.

The stay was nice but...

My husband and I enjoyed the location and our room had a wonderful view of the cruise port and Bayside Marketplace. It was a very clean room and the fact that there was a 24 hour CVS next door was chef's kiss! I hate to be a Negative Nancy but the fact that the cable was not working made for a uncomfortably quiet stay. My husband was very annoyed because he couldn't watch the football game and all of the traffic below us seemed amplified. I tried calling down to the front desk several times but they never answered the phone so I had to physically go down and wait in line to get answers. The elevators are very slow but we waited until most guest had left before we checked out. They also charge you to store your bags there if you arrive at the hotel early. But overall it was a nice stay, we plan to book again in the fall.

ONLY TWO ELEVATORS FOR 17 FLOORS!! It was a nightmare! Told by front desk there was room service - WRONG "Free" cocktail was ONLY the one designated by the hotel No towel racks in bathroom No surface in the bathroom to place anything Room had two HVAC units and thermostats and it was not immediately apparent. Couldn't figure out why we were unable to regulate the temperature. Not enough coffee, etc. for two people. TV guide completely useless.

Would not stay here again

Location is great for downtown and proximity to pier. However, so many things not so great about this hotel. 1. Like others have stated, the elevator capacity/wait is unreal. I was on 7th floor and opted to walk down the stairs each day rather than waiting 15 minutes. Both elevators were operational, but wait times worst I've ever experienced. 2. The rooms are tiny/small, which was fine for myself, but so small that there was no were to put my toiletry kit in bathroom. 3. Bathroom smelled very odd. It may have been over-cleaned/chemicals to get previous occupant smoke smell out or maybe vomit.....couldn't tell, but it was not good. Not bad enough that I was going to waste time requesting room change. 4. Staff were generally friendly, but in a bit of an "annoyed" way when requesting anything. 5. Headboard was deteriorating. Looked like sun damage, but room had the smallest window looking out to another building 4' away, so couldn't be sun damage! I should have stayed at Holiday Inn down the road.....

I spent 6 days at this Hotell , and I felt tricked , This hotel is a stop over for cruice passengers, elevator's of 2 only 1 worked the day of arrival , on top of that hotel staff used the elevator working. The reception was very good , and did a great job. Dirty room , deposit fee was charged , first time in my 55 years of traveling , this is my last trip to US. Found residents in US to be tense and not politely

The property is located in front of Bayfront Park, walking distance from Bayside, the Metro mover Station and some other great attractions. We did not need any transportation to navigate around and the staff is good. Overall the locations and spacious rooms with a stunning view make this location a great experience.

This property looks nothing like the pictures. It is dated, dirty, and extremely run down. The tv’s weren’t working in any of the rooms the night we were there. The road next to the hotel was extremely loud until past midnight and we couldn’t sleep. The bathroom is absolutely tiny and in terrible condition (smaller than bathrooms on a cruise ship). The mirror in the bathroom was covered in some kind of burns and you couldn’t see yourself in it. The rooms are also tiny with only small double beds for a room with 4 people. The beds were also not comfortable. Worst of all, they don’t have enough elevators for the number of rooms and there was a 45 min wait in the am for an elevator. We ended up having to carry our large suitcases down 8 flights of stairs because we couldn’t wait for an elevator. The staff just had excuses and zero solutions to the problem. The only good thing about the hotel is the location, and the only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. I dont usually write reviews but this place was so bad I feel like I have to warn others. It truly should be rated 2* and nothing above that. We will never be back.

It was a nice stay. Elevators a bit slow as there are only two. Front desk staff was nice as was the concierge. I left y jacket behind and tho it took a while to find it after I checked out, they did locate it and returned it. There’s an amazing outdoor eating and shopping area in walking distance as well as tourist attractions such as boating and the ubiquitous red double decker bus.

Don’t Do It

I wouldn’t even bother staying here. Stayed for 2 nights and had 1 elevator for everyone that was old slow and way too small. The TV’s never worked - although the staff kept saying it would be fixed. There was mold in the bathroom in multiple places, sink cracked all over, carpets were nasty. Parking was $55 A NIGHT. In a nutshell, not worth it.

Would not recommend!

The hotel had one working elevator with 17 floors and the elevator that worked could only fit 4 people. Took us 20 minutes just to get an elevator to go to our room. The TV in the room didn't work and the bathroom was in need a major renovation. The only thing good about the hotel was the location.
