Our flight home was canceled and we had to fly to Orlando from Virginia, stay a night to fly to Connecticut in the morning. We got into Orlando late (11p) and upon check in, the female attendant refused to service us and check us in. She instead, took people in line behind us. We were tired and hungry and just wanted to lay our heads down. When we got to the room, it smelt like a stale ashtray. Thr room smelt so bad, we opened the windows and cranked up the ac. Upon opening the windows, which we left open all night, we noticed there was no screen in the window. Anyone could have fallen right out onto the roof below. To top it off, we had no luggage....it eas lost. When asking the front desk for complimentary toothbrush/paste, this attendant was again rude and acted like we were a bother. One positive thing was that there is still Pizza Hut's in FL. I have craved Pizza Hut for 10years, so we door dashed a pixxa and had a picnic in our stinky room. Shout out to Pizza Hut, yummm! But, worst Double Tree experience i have ever had. This branch is terrible and we will never return.

The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The staff were shockingly rude and completely unhelpful. I had confirmed my reservation by phone the day before, yet when I arrived, my booking was nowhere in their system. Despite showing clear proof—receipts, itinerary numbers, and email confirmations—the front desk agents refused to assist. They didn’t lift a finger to help me resolve the issue or even offer an alternative. Their attitude was indifferent at best, and dismissive at worst. A complete failure in both customer service and basic operational competence. Worst of all, I ended up having to sleep in my car for the night—despite having paid $250 for the stay. I cannot stress this enough: do not stay at this hotel.

The room was very spacious and clean but needs to be renovated. The carpet and furniture are old. Other than that, this hotel worked out great for me and my family since it had free breakfast, a clean pool and it wasn’t too far from the Hard Rock stadium
