The rooms were very dated, but clean. There was minor damage to the fixtures and other things, but it did not impact my stay. Travelling as a single woman, I would have appreciated an interior lock on the door. There was a nice sized fridge and microwave which was appreciated.

Our room had a kitchen and a seperate area with a sofa sleeper. Housekeeping came every day and did a wonderful job. The only cons were that it's off a main road which can be noisy at night, and there were some questionable people staying in the motel and constantly walking through the parking lot to go to the liquor store next to it. Theres an outdoor pool and washer and dryer, if needed. My kids prefer to stay here when we visit Sarasota and will be back.

This stay offers old Florida charm and plenty of space in the living and sleeping areas. The bed was comfortable and the shower water was warm as needed. While on the older side, the room was updated to about the extent it can be and offered a pleasant stay.
