Decent hotel but main drawback is the daily $15 parking charge on top of an above-average rate to begin with. The hotel is nowhere near historic downtown (about 1.5 mile) so guests should be able to park without additional fee. Very poor policy from Hampton by Hilton. All in all the hotel is overpriced despite being barely within walking distance to historic city center.

First no welcoming at all what time breakfast was didn’t give us our water. There was a dirty toilet brush on the floor outside our room on the floor and garbage. No water pressure at all in our room couldn’t even shower. A/C did not work and a dog barked all night in room next to us . Service dogs don’t bark like that . Oh and also had three rooms one the tv did not work so they comp my parking 15.00 thx . Won’t be back

I was really disappointed. The Hampton Inn St. Augustine US1 North is very different from the one in Orlando. The air conditioning in the room didn't work, the bathroom faucet was broken and barely any water came out. The breakfast was very limited, with no variety. The key to the door didn't work properly and was difficult to open. We told the housekeeping staff, who saw us trying to open the door, and they just said, "I don't know."

Hotel was ok. Room was small, bathroom counter extremely small almost non-existent. Bathtub was dirty and clogged. Sunday morning 730am, got waken up by cleaning crew, talking extremely loud discussing their children’s life’s and how one of them stayed out until 1:30am. Reception staff was great.

The beds were not really comfortable. There wasn’t enough parking and we were told it was okay to park in the electric car parking space which was fine. Having to pay to park is really annoying. I feel like the price was already higher than it should have been and it’s quite a distance from the Historic District. Overall it was an okay stay but would not do it again. The staff was very nice.

Clean room and spacious. Good location within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Only complaint is the NOISE! You can hear people talking and kids crying. Very nice staff

Our first room was dirty. We found hair all over the table between the beds. Floor looked like it hadn't been swept. We didn't check the beds. They switched us to a new room with no problem. The second room was also dirty. Again, the floor looked like it hadn't been swept or vacuumed. Bathroom was dirty. The room smelled strongly of marijuana. Possibly from the neighboring room. They were talking loud and there was very little sound insulation. In addition, both rooms just had a bit of a dingy feel. When we contacted the front desk, the manager was clearly unhappy with us for having an issue. We have never left a hotel but we weren't staying here. The manager reluctantly canceled our reservation without penalty. Also, the area were the free breakfast was going to be was very small.

Hotel was definitely worth the stay. Room and bathroom were clean and cleaning staff were very friendly. Breakfast time was nice too. Not to many people (could have been the days I stayed). They would replenish items and if you asked for something to be refilled, they were quickly on top of it. Parking was the only downer—hotel was overbooked and no parking anywhere. We had to park in no parking zone, took pictures in case they towed us. Otherwise staff and hotel was great!

Sink drain was very bad as well as A/C was leaking on the floor inside the room. I immediately went to front desk, but they didn’t have another room available, so they put an order for the next morning to fix. Nothing was fixed. Just A/C temperature educed to 72 from 70. I wasn’t being able to reduce it by myself. I think the device was locked. It continued to leak. On the of checking out I mentioned it again at front desk, so the made surprised faces. Never again I would stay in that hotel. It is the real embarrassment to Hampton Inn. I used to stay in this chain of hotels last 25 years all around the country and never had such a terrible experience

Both nights our air conditioning would randomly turn off and not restart again.I had to wake up hot to reset it each time throughout the evening..Also I went down for coffee, and my digital key was disconnected because it said I checked out at 8:30a.m.. I had to bang on the door to wake my husband to open the door since obviously I had not checked out yet. We only ate breakfast one day since it was eggs in water and no meat. There was also no potatoes. Overall, the staff was friendly except I did not appreciate that she answered a lengthy phone call in the middle of my check in process while I was standing there waiting. It was not the worst hotel, but the waking up hot made us very happy to check out..

Room was outdated , vent in bath didn’t work refrigerator didn’t work, staff was polite and courteous. Had to pay to park your car per night. Had a dog across the hall on the 3rd floor take started barking at 10:30 at night. Breakfast didn’t have the variety I’m use to at Hampton chain . It was ok but not up to the standards we are use to at these hotels.
