We had problems w the door lock all 4 days we stayed . Twice my family got stuck inside the room . Everytime I had to get a new key card to get the room to open . Staff in our opinion got snippy when we asked for the room to be cleaned on our third day . There is also a sign that says just ask for extra service before 11am which is what we did . There wasn't adequate seating for breakfast . Lots of people complaining there was no where to sit and eat . Lastly a roach was found in our room dead . We made the staff aware . They said it was " normal because it's Florida " Overall extremely gross place to stay

So many errors.

This was not a pleasant stay. Multiple errors in our booking. Keys not working and had to get re set 4 times. We booked a non-smoking room and received one that clearly had smokers in it. Then- over billed.

Major bummer was the strict 4pm checkin, we didn't have a car and came in at 230 after a flight and the desk told us we had to wait. OK fine - that's the rules - but we were hungry after a flight, so we asked to check our bags before check-in, and the front desk said NO! Really? I've stayed at hundreds of hotels and have been rejected from early check-in, but never a bag check. They said they had "no room" but there was obviously room. After we got our room we had no problems, but still very salty from having to carry our luggage to a bar while we wait for checkin. At the bar we made sure to say "oh, the Clarion wouldn't check our bags" will do one of the others near baycare next time

This is an older property, which has be kept pretty clean. Convenient location, close to food, shopping and highway. Friendly staff. For the current trip, it met my needs.
