Overnight business stay near new street

Great location for dropping bag. Going an evening event and sleeping. Clean. Basic but not expensive. Will be my go to for one jghyers in birmingham with work. This was my 2nd stay after booking on the day first time as pmans changed.

No housekeepers for 8 days of the stay. I had the same towels all week. Had to ask for top up coffee and tea sachets. No bed changes of sheets. Ran out of shampoo & shower gel and bought my own. Really disappointed with the service.

Poor hotel. No windows in the room. Was hot in the room no ac just fan. Tried not to be in hotel apart from sleeping. Will never choose a Britannia hotel again. Staff on reception were the only plus point of our stay

The beddings had a funny odour. I requested on three occasions for it to be changed. Kept on getting excuses from the staff and promises that it will be sorted. It wasn't sorted after three attempts. Asides that it is ok because of proximity.
