Noisy, hot room with no Internet coverage

Boiling hot room, but a small fan was provided. Couldn't access the wifi at all - awful coverage. Very noisy as cars were racing along the road outside with very loud exhausts! Low water flow - both on the tap and the toilet flush. Breakfast was nice enough.

Conference Aston Hotel review.

My stay here was way above my expectancy, Staff were very friendly and efficent . Clean fresh bed ,,lovely bathroom. All in all - I will definitely go again when the day calls> Thank you.

Everything was alright but the bed and pillow was not comfortable at all, caused me back pain and subsequent headache. But regarding the staff the were very friendly, the room was very clean and the location was perfect for me

Really handy place to stay. Rooms were clean, housekeeping staff were really lovely and they have water machines in the hall to fill up your water bottles. Rooms were a little tired and worn but everything worked and reception was helpful and efficient. While there was a tesco, Greggs and costa just 2 mins away, the area just out of the uni campus felt very unsafe. But perfect location for central Birmingham, especially if you need parking. We didn't eat there as I felt the prices, especially for dinner were too expensive given there were so many local restaurants.

It was not as expected.

We booked this hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday in Birmingham. I mentioned it in my reservation and asked for a quiet room. The hotel replied with a short message "noted". Yet, they gave us a room next to some man who, at 7 AM, was shouting like Samuel L. Jackson in the Pulp Fiction movie. The only thing that was missing was a shot at the end. The room was small, and the swimming pool was only open until 6 PM on weekends which was very disappointing.
