This property was absolutely fine for work travel. The rooms were not as updated as I’ve come to expect with a Hyatt regency, but it was perfectly comfortable. The lobby and other areas of the hotel are great.

I didn’t enjoy my stay. The bathrooms were awful. I really hated them. The shower was in bath and the tap for using them and way they were set up are awful. The worst I’ve ever used. Then I couldn’t link my phone up to the television meaning I couldn’t watch anything or listen to music. I really didn’t enjoy my stay because of this. It’s a shame as the staff were good

Recommended for attendees at the ICC

Spacious, with plenty of storage and spotlessly clean . Lots of sockets , hairdryer and even a torch . The bed was comfortable with a nice soft duvet. Room could be heated to your own personal preferences . Access to a lovely pool. Perfect place to stay if you are attending a function at the ICC as it has a private access bridge to the centre accessible via your keycard. Not only protecting you from the rain but meaning as a single female could safely return to the hotel in the early hours of the morning. The only criticism was I found the bath / shower taps hard to turn with my arthritic hands.

Another great stay

Second time we’ve stayed here whilst visiting Birmingham for a concert. Excellent location, especially with direct access to the symphony hall. Staff very pleasant and helpful both on the main desk and in the bar. Bar meal - pitzza & Greek salad was excellent.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Nice big comfortable bed, clean room with tea & coffee. Great shower and shower gels, shampoo etc. lovely pool, sauna and steam room. A room near us was a bit noisy one night but a quick call to reception sent security upstairs and all quiet very soon. Cannot praise staff enough. Thank you.

Checked in on February 14th, waited over 10 mins for the lift as it was so busy (not the hotels fault) went out to dinner coming back my fiancee and I were apprehensive due to the area and level of violence we had witnessed around the area… We waited to get into the hotel and a man was pushing the door from the other side, very aggressive, no security around started punching the window and then once I opened the door he pushed past me and went onto broad street the security had seen what had happened yet chose to not do anything. Honestly not a great experience the hotel was nice but just the people staying was the issue.
