Location : ideal for station. In Chinatown so many restaurants to choose from. Also close to centre for shopping, museums, canal & entertainment. Staff were all excellent, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room for 3 was very spacious, basic but had all we needed. Clean and quiet.

Stayed 2 nights at the Ibis mainly for proximity to New Street station but I was pleasantly surprised by the clean feel from reception to room. Welcoming staff on arrival and at breakfast. Room v small but had all I needed, including bedside shelf and wardrobe space, which so many city hotels don't. Breakfast fine and loads of eateries within 5-minute walk.

Yeah the bull ring and grand central was 5 minute walk from the hotel. Didn’t visit the bar as we don’t drink. The rooms were clean, comfy and quiet no noise from the outside at all. Staff were friendly and helpful.
