Felt like being on a boat the room was that small. Don’t be fooled by the recently refurbished reception area. The rooms are tiny and very basic, genuinely hard to turn around in the bathroom without hitting something it’s that small. Also overpriced for what you get.

rip offs!!

was charged 12 pound for parking even tho it's a mobility car and was permitted to park there!! went to the bar for a drink before goin out was charge for 2 half of coke at 2 pound a go when I had a dash with a double jack Daniels! resulting in me paying 10.40 for 1 drink! all this was by one member of staff who had seriously bad attitude when questioned about it! never recived my money back and made a complaint to the phone complaints line! its not the money it's the principle! how many more people is this man ripping off!!

Great location

Travelled in via train (BNS) less than a 5 minute walk to the hotel. I do a lot of travelling and staff at this hotel where some of the best I've ever encountered, very professional, friendly, informative and made us feel very welcome. Frontage and reception was well presented, clean and well organised. We were on the 2nd floor, room (207) quite basic in decor and very small bathroom but for one night stay, decent shower, tv, kettle tea/coffee, hair dryer, comfy bed. Word of warning! Room had an interconnecting door (locked) but could hear everything in next room, YES! Everything!! We were heading for a show at Hippodrome theatre (1 minute walk) bars, restaurants, shops all located nearby. We didn't eat at the hotel but menu had a good selection and seemed reasonably priced. Check out was noon but hotel will securely hold your luggage at no extra charge, so, like us, grab some lunch and shops until our evening train arrived. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel, great staff and for price and location.

Close to station, good for short stays.

Pros: Close to centre and station
A second stay at this hotel. Short (6-7 min) walk from station. Staff pleasant and polite. Room comfortable, air conditioned. Good choice of tv channels, incl a few foreign language. WiFi free (non secure network), but sometimes congested, so can be slow. Did not take breakfast option, but appeared popular.

Nice, clean hotel. Great for shopping.

Pros: Staff, room, breakfast, bar, location.
Cons: Nothing really. I can't fault it.
Location: 5 minutes walk from the Bull Ring and New Street/Grand Central station. Great for entertainment and shopping.
Friendly staff, nice clean room, plenty of hot water, lovely little bar, brilliant buffet-style breakfast. 5 minutes walk from the Bull Ring, New Street Station/Grand Central. I would stay here again.

Gefallen hat mir nur ihr Personal an Empfang . Die Zimmer sehr eng , man kann sich nicht bewegen. Kein Platz für Gepäck hinzustellen. In Web seit sieht es gut aus Aner die Zimmer sind nicht so wie auf dem Bild . Das Essen ist ätzend. Mir würde immer schlecht. Wir waren 5 Tage lang dort die Zimmer würden oberflächlich gemacht Betten würden nicht richtig gemacht , staubsaugen die nicht. Und die Putzfrauen brauchen richtig lang . Wir sind 9uhr oder 10uhr raus gegangen und mal 12 oder 13 Uhr gekommen die Zimmer waren so wie wir gelassen haben. Wir waren nicht zufrieden
