I have stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, while I was working away from home. I booked to have an en-suite so I can have my own personal space and bathroom.
Room was relatively clean - nothing to comment.
Staff service was friendly but not very useful - I had no heating in my bathroom since I have arrived. It was freezing cold. I have mentioned it to the staff the next day and a ticket was raised for someone to come the following day. Not very useful as I wasn't there for a long time. I have also mentioned that there was a slight leak from that same bathroom radiator that wasn't working but they didn't seem to care. The person who supposedly came to look at the heating didn't do anything to make it work and the leak was still there, wasn't even wiped clean.
Property conditions was poor but facilities were decent - as stated above, the bathroom heater wasn't working but the heating in the room was insufficient, while the heater was on max 24/7. During the nights I was freezing cold with the radiator being slightly warm to the tough. The windows dont even close properly and the wood on the windows is rotting. Besides those things, everything was of a liveable quality. Outside the room, they have a kitchen (where the microwave is very useful to get cheaper meal), common area, a few classes a week and it is warm overall.
The area around the hotel also seems quite dangerous. A lot of homeless people, glass from broken windows and closest car park with shocking reviews.
