My weekend stay

The customer service was amazing. The room itself was nice.m, but very uncomfortable. I’m sure everyone has their own opinion, but it wasn’t cozy enough for me and the bed was very firm making it difficult to get a good nights rest. But Al in all it was a nice hotel.

Stayed 2 nights. Customer service was excellent. We had an issue with our door when we arrived and it was addressed and fixed. I couldn't get a glass of wine by the pool. The bartender said they didn't serve it by the pool, only hard liquor. I went to the inside bar where I waited for someone to show. After 5-10 minutes the bartender came in with the supervisor and they gave me my wine for free because I had to wait. It was much appreciated and the issue was handled very professionally. Our room had a "partial ocean view." However, I must say the view was spectacular! We had a great view of the ocean and the rest of the city. The room was very clean. I would have like a couple more hooks in the bathroom for towels, etc. There were only two. Next to the coffee maker were three varieties, tea, coffee, and decaf. It's good if most of your guests are staying one night but at a resort I would expect to see more coffee pods for guests. The room was consistently humid and the floors were damp, which felt weird when walking around. The t.v. had no way to log in to Netflix, Prime, etc., which I thought was weird considering almost everywhere I have stayed in the past few years had this option. When we tried to watch t.v. and click on the "guide" nothing would show. We couldn't see the names of any shows or movies that were playing, which was frustrating when trying to choose something to watch. Lastly, the WIFI would not work at all! We could connect but it didn't work.

they let us check in early as our room was ready. that was great. A couple of the employees working check in were very rude when I asked them a question. They did it in front of my 8 yr. old grand daughter and I was very upset but I can't remember her name. Other than that it was fine.

Do not stay at this hotel. It is so overpriced and the service they give isn't worth it. $33 PER night for valet parking but take forever to get your vehicle. They left our vehicle unattended and unlocked with thousands of dollars worth of equipment in the back. $30 per night "resort fee" which isn't told to you upfront and doesn't actually get you anything. We complained about valet, never even received an apology. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and stay somewhere else. And be careful walking around the hotel. The homeless are everywhere and bother you constantly for money.
