Great hotel

Extremely convenient location to local attractions and within a 5 minute walk from Waverley station with gorgeous views from an executive room. Worth the upgrade from the deluxe rooms as it changes your room view from a John Lewis to their rooftop garden overlooking the Nelsons Memorial. Fantastic staff and overall a brilliant stay.

unpersonal expensive business type hotel

Unbelievable that the best asset of the hotel, the roofgarden, was masked by the rearside of the bed, which was placed facing the TV (!!) instead of the roof garden ! Dark, low ceilinged corridors, ugghhh, and ugly lamps of kitsch women in the halls.Nice view of the castle from breakfast room. Hotel well isolated because located along a noisy and busy street.

Ideal city break

From the moment we arrived, the service received from the staff was excellent. I was like a pampered pooch. Located in the heart of Edinburgh with everything on your doorstep, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
