No room security, dirty room

Upon check in, the concierge attempted to check us into a room that was undergoing maintenance. He instead assigned us to a room on the first level, as we walked away toward that room, someone walked out of the room. Perplexed, we spoke with the other occupant who confirmed he received keys to that room earlier that day. Is there no log of this? Is there no key security? We went back to the concierge and got another room key for another room. Room was subpar. We asked for pool towels, they didn’t have any. The room towels had holes in them. There was caked on food spillage on the outside of the fridge. Would not come back.

Good location walking distance to strip malls and a Winn Dixie. Pleasant staff. Mini fridge, coffee pot, micro wave and work desk in room. A/C filters were dirty so I removed them, took photos and washed them. Management needs to pay attention as clean air is a basic need. Weak internet, which is a real bummer. Other than the a/c and the weak internet we would stay here again as we have to be in Fort Lauderdale several times a year.

Our bag was stolen. And the guy in front of the reception didn't even care. And also its not an actual hotel. You can call it an motel. Also the picture from Expedia is deceiving and misleading.

Terrible Experience - Avoid This Hotel Ocean Mile Hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. If I could give it negative stars, I would. Everything about this place is a scam, starting with their listing. The pictures they use online are fake—they show a completely different hotel to attract guests. The actual property is rundown, dirty, and nothing like what they advertise. The room was disgusting. The headboard of our bed was so sticky that my hair got stuck to it. It was beyond gross. The coffee maker jug was broken, and there were no blankets—just cheap, thin sheets that didn’t even qualify as proper bedding. They provided only one tiny soap and shampoo, and that was it. There was no toothbrush, toothpaste, or anything else you’d expect from even the most basic accommodations. The toilet seat was mismatched, with a lid and seat from different brands. No one came to clean our room during our entire stay. They didn’t change the bed sheets, empty the trash, or clean the restroom. The final straw was when my brother’s backpack went missing from his room. We reported it to the front desk and the police, but the staff acted like they didn’t care. Their dismissive attitude made it clear this wasn’t unusual for them. This hotel is a disaster. It’s unsafe, unhygienic, and run by staff who don’t care about their guests. Save your money, sanity, and safety by staying somewhere else. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. Stay far, far away.
