Hotel was clean, and offered loads of amenities and overall was a nice place. The only issue I had with it was they have hidden fees they don't tell you about until checkout. We stayed for 2 nights and had to pay $100 ($50/day) amenity fee. Amenities that we did not use. That was frustrating!

Great property! We had a junior suite and it was extremely spacious. The staff was very nice and the free shuttle to Duval St was a great perk. My only complaint was that nobody, but nobody told you to make a reservation for the free shuttle. I talked to multiple people at the front desk, concierge and on the phone… not one word about making a reservation. We saw countless people deal with that same situation. Kinda frustrating getting told you can’t get on the shuttle when you’ve been waiting for up to an hour.

Room was clean. Coffee maker in room did not work properly but once we notified them they replaced the one that was in there. Staff was courteous. Elevator did not work very well. Especially if you were not on the first floor. Long waiting time from floors above first floor. A few times had to walk down to first floor to get on and take up to upper floor to load elevator to bring it back down.

Ocean view not worth it. It was very windy and when the door was shut high pitched noise all night. We didn't sleep a wink. Door not properly sealed finally opened it a crack and no noise. (obviously not a safe option) In morning told them the problem and they moved us to a different room with no view but no noise. Same price though. Notified Expedia who supposedly advocated for us(no help). When we checked out we asked if we would be compensated at all for noise and not getting sleep the manager said not their fault It was wind. Interesting they had earplugs in the room supposedly for the Roosters (on 5th floor?) $350 dollars plus a night and you couldn't even sleep. I even recorded the noise and played it for the front desk. Our friends had same type of room and they put a towel wedged against the bottom of the door and that seemed to help. Very disappointed in the hotel and Expedia's recommendation of it. A shame grounds nice.

I liked the magnets for house keeping. My sink didn't drain unless you lifted the stopper and the door to bathroom kind of stuck at times. The main issue is in regards to the race. Being a sponsor of the race they should have been more mindful of the runners needs, ie running a special shuttle for runners to the race start, many of our scheduled Ubers couldn't get to us and lead to needless panic. Also on race event days, letting guests know of updated pick up and drop off.
