If you visit with family stay away from this hotel not suitable for small children. The sofa bed is the worst I slept on I end up on the floor instead which was more comfortable. Cleanliness was awful, there were left over crumbs everywhere in the room. And dusty. This hotel had great potential, but massively let down by the management and staff they don’t even greet guests. Can’t believe is a Marriott. Only good think about it was the price and being in a quite area of Manchester but still walking distance to central hub

Great place for two nights

I was greeted by very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff at reception. The hotelnitselfnis easy to navigate and feels clean in all areas - gym, reception, lobby, dining areas, lifts and room. Bed felt more formnthat what I am used to when I first climbed in however it proved to be very comfortable and i had two great sleeps. Unfortunately this did mean I missed breakfast both days! :) The gym was located on floor -1 and was only being occupied by one another guest when i used it. There is one tredmill so may be a wait if ithers are using it howevr i got lucky. A range of weights and other equipment were also available to use too, with water, towels and cleaning wipes provided in the gym also. I stayed in a suite which was nice and roomy, settee a little firm but didnt spend too much time for it to be a problem to me. Shiwer nice and powerful, with 2 pans and all the utensils required forbcooking upna storm, if you plan to! Have already looked into staying again as it would be a great space to share with friends.

The hotel was very clean and tidy, staff were very friendly, just a few small things let it down. 1. The air con was on but was not very cold even on lowest setting so was hot most the night. 2. Fire alarm light flashing above the bed all night, wasn’t great 3. Small one but no sausages at breakfast?? Why not, there was bacon, only scrambled eggs, mushrooms, beans and has browns. No fried eggs or sausages

The hotel is tucked away on a quiet street, away from the hustle and bustle whilst still being within walking distance from the city centre. The rooms are clean and spacious with plenty of amenities. Will visit again soon.

Excellent hotel

The check in was great! Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed, very clean and very well equipped. The fridge was too noisy and disturbed our sleep. Hardly slept a wink because of it. If it wasn’t for that it would be all 5 star. Great location! Easy to walk to Piccadilly station.

Great rooms.Unfortunately we were at the main road end of the building where building work is taking place and it was very noisy, even with soundproofing, from early in the morning. My daughters were at the opposite end of the building and it was also noisy with lorries loading at around 3am. Other than this we had a great stay. Great breakfast too
