The property itself is modern and impeccably clean, and the staff—particularly Vivian, the dining manager—were consistently polite, helpful, and attentive. However, my primary concern lies with the management’s policies, which appear designed to prioritize profit at the expense of fairness and customer experience. Being charged a $100 security deposit per day resulted in a $500 hold on my card for a five-day stay. After I raised concerns, they reduced it to $400, with the funds not released until a full week after checkout. This practice feels less like a standard precaution and more like an unnecessary financial burden on guests. Additionally, the automatic imposition of a 20% gratuity removes the guest’s right to evaluate and reward service based on merit, further eroding the sense of genuine hospitality. Food pricing is steep, yet the quality does not align. Breakfast offerings are uninspired, with stale bagels and pre-cooked, rubbery scrambled eggs substituting for fresh preparation when staff are unavailable. Even when fresh eggs are offered, guests are inexplicably limited to two, regardless of request—a policy that feels arbitrary and stingy. It is clear that management’s approach is driven by maximizing revenue rather than delivering a fair, high-quality experience. While the frontline staff strive to provide excellent service, their efforts are undermined by policies that put profit before people.

It’s a pleasant hotel but compared to the Novotel’s I stay it in London it’s a soulless. The reception staff weren’t that welcoming. It’s noisy from the train outside plus banging doors inside. But we were only there 1 night.

I had an amazing stay at Novotel Miami Brickell! From check-in to check-out, the service was top-tier. The staff was incredibly professional and friendly—always welcoming with a smile and ready to help with anything I needed. The hotel itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had a very modern, comfortable vibe. Everything about my stay felt effortless and relaxing.
