We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The property itself is beautiful, with well-maintained gardens and a relaxing spa and pool area that really stand out. The Lido restaurant has a lovely location with nice views, though we found the menu to be a bit overpriced for what was offered and it lacked that “wow” factor.
Our room was very clean and comfortable, though on the smaller side compared to expectations. Most of the staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming, which added to the experience. However, one downside was when we requested to speak with the event planner/staff. We were asked to wait in the lobby, but after sitting there for 30 minutes, no one ever followed up with us. This was disappointing given the otherwise positive service.
On another occasion, while walking back to our room from the Lido restaurant, my fiancé and I were unexpectedly stopped and questioned about which room we were staying in, only to be told the pool was closed—even though multiple people were in the pool and sitting nearby. We were clearly dressed for dinner and simply passing by, so the interaction felt unnecessary and awkward.
Overall, a nice stay with beautiful surroundings, but some service aspects could be improved to match the high standard the hotel aims to set.
